Practical-Tactical Bowies 

These hidden-tang blades are designed primarily as functional utility tools. However, design is significantly improved over my full-tang drop-points in terms of doubling as effective weapons. My philosophy is that most people–even soldiers–would rarely wish to carry a knife that is primarily a weapon, so utility tasks are by far the most important. Yet, we can adapt our tool so that it can do both jobs effectively.

With these knives, expect effective, comfortable guards; a balance-point that is a little more blade-heavy; slightly thicker blade angles, and substantially keener, stouter, swedged tips. And as usual, expect a blade-handle juncture that is significantly stronger that most knives of this type. Sheaths may be snapped-retainer or cam-locking pouch types.
